The Best Soirees Have Photobooths

 These photos are from the photobooth we helped create at our friend Gaby's birthday party, the theme of which was bowties and sequins. I've been wanting to share them for so long and she fiiiiiinally uploaded them to facebook, so here are some of my favorites! Above is the group shot, of course.

I love this last one. Where are they going? Beyond the streamers? Or are they just hiding from the camera? It's so artsy.

Tuesday Treasures #7

I wanted to share some great Etsy finds in one of my most favorite shades - mustard yellow! Such a gorgeous color, it just speaks to me! 

I love Fletcher Fox by Sleepy King. All these little guys in her shop have the BEST facial expressions! I love them.

I could definitely find some use for this beautiful mustard infinity scarf from moonsun, especially with this insane Michigan hurricane weather! I just want to stay warm, dry, and comfy!

My boyfriend loves to sport bowties and I think this one is top-notch!  Fox and Brie makes the niftiest ties and handkerchiefs. Style up your boyfriend!

I love this giant bag from Cozibag! I carry so much stuff that no bag is really big enough, but this one seems like it might do the trick.

Isn't this snail pillow from LauraFrisk adorable? I think it would look great on the vintage chair we have in our living room. 

So many great things on Etsy! What is your favorite color to wear or decorate with? Also, if Hurricane Sandy has affected you, I hope you and yours are safe and well. It even affected us here in Michigan, what a wild storm! Goodnight!

 Our favorite critter, Sirius Black. We hope/think he has a home, but unsure of who owns this friendly guy.

 Italy? Croatia? No, just Grand Rapids. Our friend has a great deck at her building downtown and we joined her for dinner and drinks. So very nice!

 Another friend had her birthday party on the roof of her building.

Last week was SO busy. I think the momentum will continue through until we move in two weeks. This coming weekend the lady with the giant necktie in the above picture will be moving back to California and my birthday is the day after, so we'll be saying goodbyes/celebrating. Hopefully time can move a little more slowly. Have a great week!
