Unconventional Workouts

Anyone else out there hate working out? I like exercise, and I know it's good for me, but the concept of paying money and taking two hours of my day preparing, going to, and cleaning up after the gym has never appealed to this girl. I also don't have enough self-motivation at home to workout, I hate to run, and I really don't think yoga is for me, so what to do?
I find unconventional means. I primarily play Just Dance 4 or Dance Dance Revolution. I know it's a little silly, but I love to dance and I'm sweating just as much as I would be at any gym. Any of you go this route? What could be better than learning some sweet dance moves and getting fit at the same time?! Also, who's excited for the release of Just Dance 2014 this October?

Dance on!

End of the Year List // Embarrassing Music

This is a super fun time of year because for those of us who like lists, we get to rank things like music, movies, news, and events from the past year! Andrew and I love all the top album and songs lists and he always forces encourages me to make one. I'm still working on that list, but I've been focusing on all the embarrassing pop songs from the year that made me sing, smile, dance, and sometimes pretend that I wasn't listening. Here are my top 5!

5.Calvin Harris feat. Neyo "Let's Go"
This isn't really an embarrassing one, in my opinion, but very feel-good and fun to listen and dance to!

4. Bruno Mars "Locked Out of Heaven"
This song is so so catchy. I don't really like any other Bruno Mars songs, but I always dance to this when I hear it!

3. Carly Rae Jepsen "Call Me Maybe"
I thought this song was so stupid the first few times I heard it. It had like five words and made zero sense. And oddly enough, the first few times I heard it we were in Croatia! I remember trashing it with Andrew's sister Tory. But then it was overwhelmingly catchy and I gave in. Plus it always puts a smile on Andrew's face, so it was hard not to like!

2. Justin Bieber feat. Nicki Minaj "Beauty and the Beat"
This song definitely has the beat going for it. And it's in Just Dance 4, so I love to dance to it!

1. Taylor Swift "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together"
This one is really embarrassing. But have you seen the video? Don't you love hearing the weeeEEEE? Ugh, I listened to this so many times this year it's sick. And it's the only Taylor Swift song I even know the name of! She sucked me in!

So what were your favorite pop tunes this year? A little Katy Perry or Rihanna maybe? Please don't say Chris Brown, I still don't care for him, ugh. But let me know! I'd love to hear: )

teach me photography?

so i've been back at school since wednesday evening, which blows my mind because time has moved both fast and slow, as bright eyes has noted. i worried all break about coming back here and hurting people's feelings because i'm a weird girl and now i don't have to worry at all it seems. all of my problems went away and have been replaced by new ones. i'm not liking it too much.

class begins tomorrow and like every other semester in college i could really care less. i'm not worried or anxious or excited; bring it on. i need to force myself to go into work also. it's so easy for me not to go. if my ear starts feeling less fragile i can finally go to the gym as well.

i made a giant list of things to do this semester that i HAVE to do. we've already done some of them including making smoothies and playing ddr for a workout. it's hard for me to make anything like a new year's resolution since i only know what the year holds for me through may when i graduate. it's super crazy that i'm going to graduate from college. i have zero plans right now, so please don't ask about them and remind me that it's time for RL (that's real life). besides my list of things to do to enjoy my semester, i plan to talk to the people that matter to me more often. i used to go for weeks without talking to shelby or colleen and i can't let that happen anymore! i'm also really looking forward to sxsw in march. instead of worrying about a multitude of things i can't control, i'll just try to think about that and listen to LOTS of music in preparation.

i've never really liked sundays anyway.
