What I Wore // Pink & Business

I wore this to work the other day and received a lot of compliments. I guess because I was so bright! I hate that all the fun colors go away during the winter, so I just keep wearing them. Andrew and I took a walk to the park to take these since it's 55 degrees outside today! In Michigan, in January! What a treat. 

Andrew gave me the Longchamp bag for Christmas. I think I'm trendy now! Everyone in Croatia had these, and I had no idea what they were, but they seemed awfully useful.

Do you ever wear something and then get a ton of unexpected compliments? I love that so much. Every time I wear these leopard print wedges, everyone comments. And they are simply from Payless!

What I Wore // Fox Brooch

Can you believe I wore this outfit on December 1st in Michigan? Climate change is...a problem, but I'm not complaining when I don't have to endure freezing temperatures in winter. I'm a huge wimp when it comes to that! Anyway, I wanted to show off my fox brooch that I bought from Sophie over at Oh My Clumsy Heart. She has the prettiest things, and this brooch is the official start to my fox collection that I'm hoping to expand! Eeee! I've been wearing it on my infinity scarf for weeks, so I finally made Andrew take a few pictures. Thanks, Sophie! Everyone should check out her shop and pick out a brooch to match!

Diary of Dresses

i really don't have anything to update about (except more bad luck, but i won't trouble you), so here are some silly shots of my dress collection. i am making my boyfriend photograph each one and doing a few a day, so these are from the floral collection. i'm trying alllllll of them on to help me decide what to bring on our croatia trip, but it's also nice to have a wardrobe diary so i can just look at pictures of my outfits and know if that's what i want to rock that day.

What I Wore // We All Scream!

yesterday was a very warm day, so i told andrew he had to buy me ice cream. "life's short, eat dessert first," i quoted. so we went to eastown sweet treats for the first time, which carries hudsonville ice cream - michigan made and super delish! the inside of the place kind of stunk, literally, so that was a little disconcerting, but our treats did not disappoint. i got a chocolate/toasted coconut ice cream, and andrew had superman. i had gone to the mall beforehand to order andrew's swimsuit, and while i was there i picked up a summery yellow skirt (on sale) and some pretty nail polish. i love jcrew, but they are very expensive. if you ever go, make sure to show your student ID and you get 15% off! even on sale, even at the factory outlet! i didn't know this the first time i went, so i'm just passing it along: )
